George studied at Beckenham School of Art with Thomas Freeth in 1946-50. He then went on to study at the Royal College of Art in 1950-53 where his teachers included Ruskin Spear and John Milton. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, Beaus Art Gallery, Leicester Galleries and one man shows at Redfern Gallery. He lived in London.
