Poolside Party is a vibrant and characterful gouache painting of a 1930s Hollywood-style pool party.
38 x 27cm approx.
Nunney's first commercial work is recorded as early as 1923. He produced work for Johnnie Walker whisky in 1927. Nunney also designed posters used to promote the war effort during World War II and, around 1947, a number of posters describing various aspects of education around the British Colonial Empire.
