Painter, printmaker, embroiderer and teacher who studied painting and embroidery at Goldsmiths’ College School of Art. Amongst her many achievements in art, Maureen has worked on murals for Selfridges, John Lewis and the Institute of Engineers amongst others. In 1979 she was the founder member of the Greenwich Printmakers' Association whose gallery in Greenwich is still showing limited edition original artist's prints.
Maureen’s work has been selected for the RA Summer Exhibition and other national shows. Her work is in public museums including the National Maritime Museum, the National Museum of Wales and collections in Yorkshire, Cambridge, Coventry, Surrey, Berlin and her local Greenwich and Lewisham. Additionally, Maureen has also exhibited in Australia, New Zealand, Russia, USA and Canada.
