Winston was a prolific watercolour painter. He exhibited in galleries nationwide, including the Royal Academy of Arts in 1948. He moved to Weymouth after the war where he lived and worked until his sudden death aged 57 in 1971. His pictures are still as in demand today as they were during his lifetime.
