Impressionist Paul André Jean Eschbach was a painter of genre, portraits, landscapes, seascapes, interiors and flowers. Taught at the Académie Julian from 1912 to 1938 and regularly exhibited in Paris at the Salon of French Artists, of which he was a member. Several provincial Museums retain his works. After 1920, he abandoned interior scenes and genre, and became known as a landscape painter.
