Theodore (Dorus) van Oorschot was a Dutch painter born in Schijndel, The Netherlands in 1910. He was a student of the Academy of Arts of Tilburg and Antoon van Domburg. He also studied at the Amsterdam Art Academy and found talent in impressionistic floral, still life compositions and street scenes with mostly the landscape of the Bailiwick of ‘s-Hertogenbosch in the subject.
