Graham was born and educated in Chelmsford, Essex. After college he moved to Brixham in Devon working as a both an  artist and crew on deep sea trawlers. After marriage, he moved back to Essex and in 1967 he and his wife opened their first art gallery. Over the next 12 years, 2 further galleries followed before Graham decided in 1980, to return full time to painting.
 
Graham's style has developed and he shows great realism in his landscapes with his detail and colour. His works are collected in the UK, Europe and USA.
